It’s a sad day in the neighborhood. Mister Rogers passed away this morning at the age of 74 after losing his battle with cancer.

OK, the server’s back… another power issue. Gotta get that fixed somehow.

The rumor on the street is Apple will release the updated iPods tomorrow. I’m really on the fence about it; on the one hand I really would love to have a 40GB version since my MP3 collection has just passed the 20GB mark. I’d be able to have my entire 400+ CD collection in the space of deck of cards. On the other hand, I’d have to find around 500 bucks somewhere to afford it. Maybe I can get a few more sound gigs.

Very busy weekend, but was all good. I attended our annual Men’s retreat with 70+ other guys from church and had an awesome time. Madison’s birthday party (big 2) was yesterday afternoon, Michael turned 5 today (party this Saturday). And to top it all off, I’ve been hired to run sound for Bliss next weekend. Cool.

“Liberals Plan Radio Network”… O, give me a break. They just don’t understand. The reason their schtick doesn’t play isn’t because of the messenger, it’s because of the schtick.

And this business of going “Progressive” instead of Liberal is funny, too. If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck…

Just received this little snippit in an email: “Going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordian; all you leave behind is some noisy baggage.”

“How is it a guy dressed as a bat steals all my press?” (or something like that)

Once again, Dell follows Apple’s lead and gets all the press. They announced earlier this week that the next generation of their PeeCee boxes would probably not have a floppy drive, and suddenly they’re on the front page of CNN, MSNBC and just about every other major and minor, tech or not news site on the net. Best I can remember, Apple shed the worthless floppy drive almost FIVE years ago. Well, I guess you’ve got to “innovate” where you can…
